About Off site hotels - Kissimmee, Lake Buena Vista

Hotels off-site of Walt Disney World will be less expensive and the dining and expenses lower. Transportation is usually necessary, adding rental car and shuttle costs, and the commute to Walt Disney World will take a bit longer. The closest areas to stay in are Kissimmee and Lake Buena Vista.

  • Disney World TIP: When we went to the theme parks with our kids we took along a couple handheld electronic games. While we were waiting in line, we would play them to pass the time. This was especially great for the kids because they can get very impatient while waiting in lines.
