About Walt Disney World

Walt Disney World in Florida is actually comprised of 4 major theme parks: The Magic Kingdom, Epcot Center, Disney-MGM Studio, and Animal Kingdom. In addition, there are minor parks such as the water parks called Blizzard Beach, River Country, and Typhoon Lagoon. Downtown Disney offers dining, shopping, and Pleasure Island, a nightclub theme park for adults.

Admission price for one day will get you into one of the major parks. There are ticket packages which range from four-day passes to 7-day passes, as well as annual passes. The prices indicated are from year 2000 and subject to change. For updated prices and ticket options call 407-824-4321. Tickets to the theme parks can be purchased by credit card and mailed to you by calling 407-W-DISNEY.

Admission tickets:

  • One-day ticket, one park only: $46 adult, $37 ages 3-9. Children under the age of 3 are free.
  • 4-Day Park Hopper Pass - one park per day: $176 adult, $142 ages 3-9.
  • 5-Day Park Hopper Pass - admission to the 4 major parks. $206.00 adult, $167.00 ages 3-9.
  • Five Day Park Hopper Plus - unlimited in and out admission to the major theme parks, plus two visits to the minor parks - such as the water parks and Pleasure Island. $236 adult, $192 ages 3-9
  • Six Day Park Hopper Plus - includes admission to the major parks and three visits to the minor ones. $266 adult, $217 ages 3-9
  • Seven Day Park Hopper Plus - includes above. $296 adult, $242 ages 3-9

    Disney World TIP: When our family rode with the driver in the monorail, the driver presented both children with a monorail license. It is not completed, we had to write in the children's names but it was a nice remembrance for both the kids.
