A LITTLE BIT ABOUT US...
The Mission Sands building is a small (three oceanfront units), privately owned apartment building that sits right on the boardwalk on Mission Beach in San Diego California. According to local lore, the building is one of the oldest on Oceanfront Walk. My wife and I bought the property in November of 1994, and spent the first six months renovating it, so it has the modern amenities, while preserving some older charm.
Our goal for remodeling the building was to make each unit "livable", so you will find them to be open, airy, and unlike the efficiency units you may be used to. Each of the units has a full kitchen, VCR and television with cable service, and telephone service for local calls.We personally manage the property to ensure that our guests receive personal attention and can get any questions answered directly.
There are 2 downstairs units: a large one bedroom and a two bedroom apartment. The downstairs apartments are on the same level as the boardwalk and beach, so you can relax in a lounge on the large landscaped deck and see the passers-by strolling the boardwalk or what's happening on the beach just on the other side of the boardwalk.
Our Penthouse is on the second floor, and commands a spectacular view of the Pacific, from La Jolla to Point Loma. This is where you can truly relax and get away from it all -- sitting in a quiet nook catching up on reading, watching the sun sink into the ocean from the hot tub on your private deck, or watching the dolphins play in the waves from the panoramic living room window.
