Twenty miles East of Hartford on I-84, just seven miles from the UCONN campus at Storrs is the Tolland Green Historic District. Among those well-preserved buildings stands the Tolland Inn.
THE TOLLAND INN has seven guestrooms, all with private baths. These include a luxury first floor room with private entrance, queen canopy bed, fireplace, two-person hot tub. Three suites on the second floor have queen canopy bed, sitting room and fireplace. Two have two-person hot tubs. Most rooms have A/C and CATV.
THE INNKEEPERS are Susan and Steve Beeching. Susan is a Nantucket native and third generation innkeeper. She currently teaches second grade and supervises our innkeeping.
Stephen is a designer and builder of fine furniture. His furniture pieces are in homes across this country, Japan and Italy. His work can also be seen throughout the inn mixed with the inn's antiques.
