The Bar Harbor Tides, a seaside Bed & Breakfast, was built in 1887 and is a classic example of Greek Revival architecture. The Inn has an ideal location in the quiet Historic District of Bar Harbor, but close enough to walk to the village and many of the Acadia National Park activities.
A wicker filled veranda overlooks a broad sweep of lawn that reaches out to Frenchman Bay. Accommodations include one-room and three two-room suites. Each suite boasts expansive views of the island-dotted Bay, private bath and personal parlor with cable television. Two of the suites have working fireplaces. A full gourmet breakfast is included. The Tides is a smoke free inn.
